Ron Strykert is an Australian songwriter and guitarist best known for co-founding Men At Work and co-writing their global hit "Down Under" with Colin Hay. Born in Korumburra, Victoria in 1957, he contributed at least 10 songs across the band's three studio albums from 1981 to 1985. Following the band's dissolution, Strykert released the solo album Paradise in 2003. "Down Under" remains his most celebrated composition, ranking fourth on APRA's Top 30 Australian Songs list.
