Ray Manzarek, Robby Krieger, and John Densmore co-wrote several tracks including "The Mosquito," "Newborn Awakening," and material for An American Prayer (1978). These three-way collaborations represented the instrumental core of The Doors working together, both during and after Jim Morrison's tenure with the band.
