David Santoro is a bassist, pianist, and educator active in contemporary jazz. He serves as a professor at Berklee College of Music and leads several ensembles, including Dave Santoro's Standard Band featuring saxophonist Jerry Bergonzi. While primarily known as a performer and bandleader, Santoro has contributed original compositions to the jazz repertoire.
