Josef Myrow was a Russian-born American composer who created popular songs and film scores during Hollywood's golden age. Born in 1910 and trained as a classical pianist, Myrow immigrated to the United States and established himself as a tunesmith for movie musicals. His most famous composition, "You Make Me Feel So Young," became an enduring jazz and pop standard. His collaboration with lyricist Mack Gordon produced several hits including "You Do" from Mother Wore Tights. His catalog also includes "Autumn Nocturne," co-written with Kim Gannon, which achieved lasting popularity as a jazz standard. He died in Los Angeles in 1987.
