The set closes with a brief, spirited rendition of Bill Lee III's composition from Spike Lee's 1990 film, played as a march at 96 BPM over a compact 8-bar form in G-flat. Only Weiner and Iida solo, each taking one chorus on tenor saxophone and trumpet respectively, keeping the closer tight and punchy at just over four minutes. The march feel and short form give the finale a distinct character — more of a closing statement than an extended blowing vehicle. The tune's cinematic origins bring a different flavor to a program otherwise drawn from the hard bop and standard jazz repertoire. Ending with such a concise performance after the sprawling improvisations earlier in the set creates an effective bookend, wrapping the evening cleanly rather than attempting to top the intensity of Public Eye or The Eternal Triangle.
