Set in A at a moderate 126 BPM with a rock feel, Hancock closes with an electric piano statement that explores the textural possibilities of the instrument within the rock groove, his improvisation drawing on both jazz harmonic language and the emerging electronic sensibility that would define his later work. YouTube and Spotify seem to have misnamed 2 tracks from this Red Clay album: The Intrepid Fox and Cold Turkey. The music here is Cold Turkey even though YouTube and Spotify say The Intrepid Fox.
