Taking a half chorus of the 32-bar AABA form in D-flat at 136 BPM, Roland brings melodic clarity and rhythmic assurance to his improvisation. His bass solo adds a welcome textural variety to the track, the instrument's deep register and warm acoustic character providing a contrasting voice after Grasso's guitar statement.
