Caity Gyorgy's vocal solo is the second of two improvisations on this recording, following Benack's vocal. Taking one chorus of the 32-bar AABA form in E-flat at 157 BPM, Gyorgy delivers her own excellent vocalese-type performance following Benack's opening statement. Like Benack's solo, hers incorporates references to other jazz standards within the lyrics. The pairing of these two prominent young jazz vocalists creates a compelling dialogue between complementary approaches to jazz singing.
