Cedric Blary is a composer and multi-instrumentalist based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Performing on clarinet, saxophone, and flute, he brings a versatile voice to a wide range of genres including jazz, folk, bluegrass, and classical music. He is a founding member of the Jazz Winds Composers Collective and performs with the award‑winning comedic a cappella group the Heebee‑jeebees. In addition to his work as a performer and collaborator, Cedric is dedicated to music education, sharing his expertise and passion with students and audiences alike.

Trivia

Cedric Blary is known to have a fondness for puns. Cedric Blary has served as the clarinet masterclass instructor at the Calgary Regional Summer Band Workshop for many years. As part of the a capella group Heebee-jeebees, Cedric Blary has won 2 CARA awards.

Early Life

Cedric Blary earned a B.MUS degree in clarinet performance from the University of Calgary and a Diploma from Mount Royal College.
