Colin Hay is an Australian-born songwriter best known for his work with Men At Work and his extensive solo catalog. As the band's primary songwriter, he penned global hits like "Who Can It Be Now?" and "Down Under" from the multi-platinum album Business as Usual (1981), followed by Cargo (1983) which featured "Overkill" and "It's A Mistake." After the band disbanded in 1985, Hay released 12 solo studio albums, developing a more introspective, acoustic-oriented style. His compositions demonstrate versatility across new wave, pop-rock, and folk influences, with his songs finding renewed popularity through film and television placements.
