Jack Conrad and John Densmore co-wrote "The Piano Bird," which appeared on The Doors' 1972 album Full Circle. Conrad, a songwriter and producer, collaborated with Densmore during the post-Morrison era when the surviving members explored new musical directions and outside songwriting partnerships.
