Opening the solo section, this electric guitar improvisation spans two choruses of the 32-bar AABA form at a medium-up 198 BPM. Kuroki's guitar tone and phrasing reflect a jazz sensibility, with clean articulation and harmonic awareness guiding the improvisation through the form. The bridge section of the AABA form introduces a contrasting harmonic area that tests the soloist's ability to navigate the shift and return smoothly to the A section material. Following this solo, Jun Iida takes over on trumpet.
