Arv Garrison's electric guitar solo is the fourth of five improvisations on this recording. Arv takes the second half of the chorus following Lucky Thompson, soloing over a half chorus of the 32-bar AABA form in C at 215 BPM. His electric guitar work adds another timbral dimension to this multi-soloist performance, his swing-rooted playing providing a distinctive voice in the sequence of improvisers on Parker's celebrated contrafact.
