Mark Limacher's piano solo is the first of two improvisations on this arrangement of the Jerome Kern standard from the 1936 film Swing Time. Mark takes the first half of the chorus, soloing over a half chorus of the 32-bar ABAC form in A-flat at 130 BPM. His playing demonstrates a refined harmonic sensibility and melodic tastfulness, the medium swing tempo allowing his ideas to unfold with clarity and elegance.
