Wonder is an original jazz composition by Toronto-based pianist, composer, and bandleader Anthony D'Alessandro. The piece appears as track six on D'Alessandro's debut album as a leader, Searchin', a self-released recording available on Bandcamp and streaming platforms. The album features Benny Benack III on trumpet and vocals, Neil Swainson on bass, and Ernesto Cervini on drums. Wonder is one of five original compositions on the album, which also includes arrangements of standards such as Someone to Watch Over Me and East of the Sun (and West of the Moon). D'Alessandro has described the artwork associated with the tune as capturing the feeling of longing for his mother, suggesting an emotional and introspective quality to the piece.
